I started The Irish Abroad back in 2020, when I was living overseas and looking for a way to stay connected to home. What began as a simple effort to share a bit of Ireland with others in the same boat has grown, six years on, into a global community of more than 300,000 people, reaching over 10 million views every month across our channels. It’s become a place where the Irish, wherever we are in the world, can feel that little spark of home.
